SA8000 standard was developed and released by CEPAA (later renamed as SAI) as early as in 1997. As the first SAI standard usable for third-party certification on the globe, this standard is intended to improve working conditions of workers in the world through ethical procurement activity. On March 12, 2012, with approval of the ｅｘｅｃutives Zowee Tech started SA8000 certification program, which marks a large step of Zowee toward Fair Labor Association, and also indicates that we will be more advantageous in fierce market competition when presenting our products, services and quality to customers, and thereby win recognition of more overseas customers.

What is SA8000?
SA8000 standard was developed and released by CEPAA (later renamed as SAI) as early as in 1997. As the first SAI standard usable for third-party certification on the globe, this standard is intended to improve working conditions of workers in the world through ethical procurement activity. SA8000 was developed mainly based on ILO Convention, UN Convention on Right of the Child and Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with its key content including child labor, forced labor, safety and health, freedom of association and collective bargaining, discrimination, disciplinary practices, working hours, wage and remuneration, and management system. SA8000 is a general standard, and is applicable to both developing countries and developed countries, and to both diverse business firms and public institutions. In addition, SA8000 can be used as a substitute for social accountability rules within a corporation or across an industry.
